As CEO I’m often asked to describe what Agricorp does. The simple answer is that we connect producers with risk management programs. But we do so much more than that.
We provide good customer service
The feedback we get in the call centre tells us we’re moving in the right direction. So do our customer satisfaction survey results. But we also hear when we get it wrong and we’re continually working to improve on that.
We understand our customers’ needs
When I talk to staff throughout Agricorp, I’m impressed to see how focused our employees are on the work they do. I believe it’s because they understand just how vitally important their work is. In fact, many of our employees are also involved in agriculture so they know what’s keeping our customers up at night.
Focused on what matters to producers
Many of our customers face long hours in the fields and when they aren’t farming, they’re looking into new farming techniques or the latest agricultural innovations. We’re looking at more ways to improve when and how customers can reach us so they can get on with what’s really important. This website is a prime example of how we are improving.
We do our work with the utmost integrity
We’re known for it and we work hard to keep that reputation. The choices we make as a corporation impact our customers. As an agency of the government, the public expects us to operate ethically.
