MVIP opens May 19 for wine grape growers

​​Funding for the Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Program (MVIP) has been fully allocated for the 2015-16 program year. Intake 1 will be closed as of 5:00 Friday, June 19, 2015. Applications received prior to the closing will be placed into a priority queue for consideration in next year’s program. Agricorp will contact all applicants in the next few weeks to inform them of their status.

Wine grape growers can appl​y for Ontario's Marketing and Vineyard Improvement Program (MVIP) starting Tuesday, May 19 at 10 a.m. MVIP provides growers with funds to help with the cost of improvements to their production of wine grapes.

To apply for MVIP, producers can download the application from or contact Agricorp to request a copy. Completed applications can be submitted to Agricorp by email, mail, or fax, or in person. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until July 10 or until the program is full, whichever comes first.
