Risk Management Program application deadline extended

In view of the busy fall, and to give producers time to fully understand the requirements of the new Risk Management Program (RMP), the application deadline has been extended to December 31, 2007. Please submit your Risk Management Program (RMP) application form as soon as possible so Agricorp can process your file more quickly.
For participants who met the original November 15, 2007 deadline, we are aiming to issue payments by the end of December.
Eligible applications received after November 15, 2007 will more likely receive payments in 2008.

For qualifying juice grape vineyards that have not already had the vineyard stock removed, the applicant must cut all juice grape vines at ground level and apply a herbicide to the remaining stumps by July 22, 2007.
The grower must provide a declaration to Agricorp by July 23, 2007, confirming that the work has taken place.
