2004 CAIS Program Forms Deadline Extended to July 15, 2005

Guelph - (May 27, 2005) Agricorp has extended the 2004 Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization (CAIS) program forms deadline to July 15, 2005 in order to accommodate as many producers as possible.
Agricorp processes CAIS files on a first in first out basis, so producers who submit accurate and complete information as early as possible, regardless of the deadline, will benefit.
Producers and agents can use the new myCAIS to submit 2004 forms online at www.mycais.on.ca.
Other 2004 CAIS program deadlines remain unchanged. Participants must submit their 2004 T1163 (for individuals) or Statement A (for corporations) to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Winnipeg Taxation Centre by June 15, 2005 for individuals and June 30, 2005 for corporations.
For the 2005 program, if producers are enrolling for the first time or if they wish to change their coverage selection, the deadline of May 31, 2005 has not changed.
