Operations Analyst

Agricorp is looking for two Operations Analysts to join our Program Delivery division. One role is for our Program Quality Assurance and Performance Standards Operations team and the other is for our Business Operations team.​

The Role

The Operations Analyst supports and provides direct service delivery for small, medium and moderately complex assignments in their respective area of expertise to help improve the external customer experience. This role provides regular senior-level reporting and analysis on the department's performance and acts as the first point of contact for stakeholders. In this role, you will:

  • Support moderately complex assignments in the area of expertise (i.e. program quality assurance, change implementation, or escalated issue resolution), including overall project management and the design and delivery of the process and tools to be implemented
  • Use standardized methodology and makes recommendations in area of focus to provide consistent, predictable success
  • Provide complex critical thinking and senior level analysis in assigned program area, including preparation of reports, trend analysis and recommendations for changes to reporting formats to increase the value of the reports for senior leaders in setting strategic plans and actions
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely fashion, making sure that issues requiring senior level attention are escalated and that a response is provided to all stakeholders within the established timelines
  • Interpret customer needs and ensure viable solutions are in place to improve customer service
  • Provide proactive and responsive advice and direction to stakeholders on standardized process steps in area of focus to ensure a consistent approach is maintained for increased predictability in successful outcomes
  • Act as first point of contact for internal stakeholder inquiries, which involves working with all levels of staff and management both within and outside of the division
  • Ensure analysis of the impact of a change or decision to the business is completed and factored into the plans

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or general arts, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years' claims experience
  • Insurance, finance and/or agricultural industry experience required
  • Experience communicating to diverse stakeholders with influence and authority
  • Public sector experience an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agricorp programs is an asset
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset
  • Intent to pursue a designation in Change Implementation, Project Management or Issue Resolution an asset
