Report your acreage


Step 1: Do any of these situations apply to you?

Call us at 1-888-247-4999. We may need additional information.                    

  • Couldn’t plant all the acres you planned
  • Planted any crop after the planting deadline
  • Increased your acreage substantially
  • Used aerial or broadcast seeding
  • Planted any crop immediately after hay or processing peas
  • Started farming new land
  • Switched to organic production
  • Grow a commodity not listed in Step 2

Step 2: What crops are you reporting?

Spring-seeded crops that can be reported online:

  • Barley
  • Black tobacco
  • Butternut squash
  • Canola
  • Carrots (processing)
  • Edible beans (adzuki, black, cranberry, Japan/other, kidney, white)
  • Flax
  • Flue-cured tobacco
  • Forage (standard and premium)
  • Grain corn (conventional and organic)
  • Hemp
  • Mustard
  • Oats
  • Onions (seed, set and Spanish)
  • Peanuts
  • Popping corn
  • Potatoes (fresh and processing)
  • Rutabagas (fresh and processing)
  • Soybeans (conventional, organic, tofu, natto and pedigreed seed)
  • Spring grains
  • Spring wheat (conventional and pedigreed seed)
  • Sugar beets
  • Sunflowers

Fresh market vegetables (acreage-loss basis) can be reported by filling out a PDF form (below).

Fall-seeded crops that can be reported online:

  • Winter wheat (hard red, hard white, organic, soft red, soft white, and pedigreed seed)
  • Winter spelt (organic)

Step 3: Have the following information ready

  • Your Agricorp ID
  • Total acres you planted for each crop
  • Date you finished planting each crop
  • Total acres in your landlord/sharecropper arrangement (if applicable)

When to report

For most crops, report your planted acres to Agricorp by June 30. Some vegetables have a different deadline – to see the deadlines, select your crop.

What happens after you report

Agricorp sends you a coverage confirmation and premium invoice based on the acres you reported. Agricorp may contact you if additional information is required.
