Register your farm business – your way

January 4, 2024

Ontario farmers have options for registering their farm business – so they can do business their way.

Farmers can:

  • pay their Farm Business Registration invoice online at, at their bank, or by mailing a cheque
  • go paperless or have an invoice mailed to them

While Agricorp continues to offer all the traditional ways of doing business, paying online and going paperless is a simple and convenient option that is popular with many farmers.

What customers can do at

More than 9,000 customers are using to register their farm businesses. By doing so, they can:

Choose email instead of paper mailings – All future payment reminders will then be sent by email. Those who sign up for paperless registration can still pay through their bank (online or in person).

Pay for their registration – Payments can be made by credit card. It's quick, easy, and secure, and means avoiding trips to the bank or post office.

Immediately get proof of registration – Get an email as proof of registration, which can be used to apply for farm licence plates.

Quickly update their information – Account information is at their fingertips, so they can confirm or update their farm information, all online.

Want to request a refund? – Customers who don't want the benefits of membership with an AFO and would like a refund can send a request by mail or email to their AFO and include only their FBR number, name and mailing address. Customers who request a refund can no longer access the benefits and services that the AFO provides to its members. Customers have until May 31, 2024 to request a refund.
