Producers have until February 1 for SDRM deposits

To participate in the self-directed risk management (SDRM) plan for edible horticulture, producers need to submit a Deposit Request to Agricorp, along with a cheque, by February 1, 2017.

In September, Agricorp mailed packages to eligible Ontario producers, which contained all of the forms needed to participate, personalized for each producer. Once a producer has made a deposit, they can submit a Withdrawal Request to take out funds anytime they choose. To make it faster and easier, they can submit their deposit and withdrawal requests together.

Didn't receive a package?

Producers who did not receive a participant package should contact Agricorp if they believe that they qualify. Upon request, Agricorp will mail packages to eligible producers, who will then have 90 days to make a deposit. Eligibility requirements are detailed on the SDRM: Edible Horticulture page.

For producers who signed up for direct deposit, withdrawn funds will be deposited directly into their bank accounts. Producers who aren't yet enrolled for direct deposit can sign up at agricorp.com/directdeposit.
