Chief Executive Officer
As CEO of Agricorp, Doug leads a busy and dynamic organization. Before his appointment as CEO, Doug served as Agricorp’s Chief Information Officer since 2007, leading Agricorp’s Information Technology (IT) division to ensure the successful delivery of IT services and strategic initiatives. Doug also brings more than 25 years of previous IT experience from organizations including Symcor, Millennium Care, EDS, MCI Systemhouse and IBM, where he worked in all phases of systems integration, from project planning to systems management, from deployment to outsourcing and large-scale customer transitions. He has completed Leadership, Strategy, and IT executive programs at Harvard, Queens Executive Business School and the Rotman School of Management.
Senior Director of Human Resources & Organization Development
Jocelyn supports Agricorp's ability to attract, retain and motivate talent with a focus on compensation and benefits, pension, learning, ethics and conduct, health and safety, employee relations, recruitment, performance, organizational change and compliance. Before joining Agricorp in 2005, she held leadership roles in banking, and human resources and organization development in both the private and public sectors including HSBC Securities, Royal Bank Financial Group, CIBC and Dominion Securities. Jocelyn holds a Master of Education in Workplace Learning and Change from the University of Toronto. She also completed the George Morris Centre Executive Development Program for Agriculture and is a Chartered Director through the McMaster University Chartered Directors Program.
Senior Director of Program Delivery
As Senior Director of Program Delivery, Debra is responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the delivery of Business Risk Management programs. Before joining Agricorp, she built a strong reputation as a team leader with over 20 years of progressive experience within the insurance industry. Debra complemented her diploma in medical disease concepts from Conestoga College by completing the Queen's Executive Leadership Program and pursuing her Chartered Insurance Professional Designation.
Chief Information Officer
As CIO, Chris leads Agricorp’s Information Technology (IT) division, which consists of business analysis, system architecture, development, testing, computing and network services to ensure the successful delivery of IT services and strategic initiatives. Chris brings 25 years’ experience managing complex technology and business operations for both the private and public sector while working for Deloitte and IBM. He has led diverse groups of stakeholders including clients, service delivery teams and vendors to reach successful outcomes. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Agricultural and Food Marketing from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (U.K.).
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO, Monika leads Agricorp’s overall financial management, including financial reporting, planning, treasury and investment management. Additionally, she oversees Enterprise Risk Management, Procurement and other corporate functions and works closely with both the Finance and Audit Committee and the Board of Directors. Monika has extensive finance and accounting experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Before joining Agricorp, she held senior leadership roles at both Manulife Financial and Deloitte. Monika is a Chartered Professional Accountant and a Chartered Accountant. She obtained a business degree from the University of Western Ontario and an accounting degree from Brock University.
Senior Director, Legal Services
Greg is responsible for Agricorp's legal affairs and oversees the delivery of legal services in a range of areas including program development and delivery, corporate governance, litigation management, procurement, employment and corporate-commercial law. Before joining Agricorp in 2010, Greg held roles of increasing responsibility as an in-house counsel and executive in a federal Crown corporation. He spent four years in private legal practice, and worked for five years as a project engineer in the oil industry. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, and his Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Director, Strategic Management and Communications
Anna is responsible for leading Agricorp's strategic planning, reporting and corporate communications, and for supporting board and internal governance processes and practices as the Corporate Secretary. Since joining Agricorp in 1997, she has held progressively senior roles in both program delivery and government and industry relations. Anna also brings extensive industry and program experience from her 10 years at the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA ). She grew up on a mixed livestock-cash crop farm in southwestern Ontario and holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Windsor.
Senior Director of Program Development
Mike oversees industry relations and program analysis and development, collaborating with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) and industry stakeholders to align program design with industry needs and government priorities. He joined Agricorp in 1997, holding progressive positions in marketing, public relations, communications and sales management. He has more than 25 years of public service experience with both OMAFRA and Agricorp, working in program delivery, design and policy in support of the agri-food industry. Mike grew up on his family’s farm near Petrolia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guelph and completed both the Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program and the Schulich Executive Development Program.
