AgriStability participants have until December 31 to apply for 2023 interim payments. So instead of waiting for year-end forms to be processed to get full payment, they can get some of their payment sooner.
Once participants have completed 6 months of their fiscal year, they can get an advance of 50% of their estimated final payment by submitting an
interim payment application form.
Interim payments have advanced $20 million to Ontario farmers in the last 2 years.
