Reporting your acres is easiest online

October 2, 2025

Each fall, farmers need to report their fall planted acreage for Production Insurance by November 8. Reporting acreage offers famers peace of mind in the coming year ahead by ensuring they're protected, regardless of what factors may affect yield outcomes. Agricorp's online reporting tool makes reporting acreage easy.

We know that fall is a busy time of year for farmers, and that's why each year more farmers are choosing to report their acreage online. The benefits include:

  • Fastest way to report: Submit acreage in as little as two minutes
  • Flexible reporting: Report acreage anytime, from anywhere
  • Easy to access: Report on any device, using any internet speed

Customers still need to call Agricorp if they need to report partial acres, or if they are not planting a crop that is listed in their renewal.

Most farmers complete their planting and call Agricorp to report their acreage around the same time. This creates a large influx of calls into Agricorp and may increase call wait times.  Reporting online also helps keep phone lines open for customers who are in unique circumstances or have coverage questions that can only be addressed over the phone.

Farmers can still choose to report their acres by phone or email. Regardless which method they choose, farmers need to report their acres by November 8 for their crops to be eligible for Production Insurance.

Faster payments with direct deposit

Direct deposit is a convenient way to receive payments 5-7 days faster than by mail. Payments that are direct deposited aren't impacted by postal delays, so farmers can have their funds when they need them most.
