Customers still need to call Agricorp if they need to report partial acres, or if they are not planting a crop that is listed in their renewal.
Most farmers complete their planting and call Agricorp to report their acreage around the same time. This creates a large influx of calls into Agricorp and may increase call wait times. Reporting online also helps keep phone lines open for customers who are in unique circumstances or have coverage questions that can only be addressed over the phone.
Farmers can still choose to report their acres by phone or email. Regardless which method they choose, farmers need to report their acres by
November 8 for their crops to be eligible for Production Insurance.
