Agricorp has received questions from customers about how coverage works when they have stored corn on farm with high DON levels.
Agricorp can confirm dry-shelled grain corn, high-moisture corn, cob corn and silage may be eligible for the 2018 corn salvage benefit. Producers will need to have test results showing DON levels above 5 ppm. Coverage under the salvage benefit is up to a producer's guaranteed level of production.
If customers have these corn products on farm and have not contacted Agricorp, they should call 1-888-247-4999 to discuss their coverage.
